Shrimp and Beef Stir-Fry is a flavorful stir-fry with jumbo shrimp, fresh vegetables, and a savory sauce, perfect over rice or noodles.
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound jumbo shrimp
8 large asparagus stalks cut in to roughly 1-2 inch pieces
2 red bell peppers cut in to thick slices
4 green onions cut in to 1 inch pieces
10 cloves rough chopped garlic
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp fresh grated ginger
1 bunch basil, leaves only
1 tbsp cornstarch slurry (water cornstarch mixture)
2 tbsp cooking oil of choice
RECIPE:
Heat wok or skillet to medium/high heat. Combine oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and ginger and set aside. Add 2 tbs cooking oil to wok or skillet and coat entire surface with oil.
Add in green onion, asparagus, bell peppe and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes stirring constantly. Add in shrimp and cook for about 90 seconds to two minutes. Stir in sauce mixture and cornstarch slurry. Cook and stir for about a minute making sure thick sauce is coating everything. Stir in basil leaves and cook for 20-30 seconds.
Serve immediately over noodles, rice or enjoy as is!!! Garnish with extras basil and enjoy!
